About Us
At Triple Play, we believe the best athletes aren’t made by specializing early—they’re built through play. Real, raw, multi-sport play.
Founder Tony Gray grew up in a small town where the season—and the backyard—decided what sport you played. One day it was basketball in the driveway. The next, soccer on the street. Baseball in the cul-de-sac. Whatever it was, Tony was knocking on doors, getting kids outside, and turning friends into teammates.
That love for variety turned into a lifetime of competing across multiple sports: lacrosse, soccer, basketball, cross country, track, volleyball, and baseball. And it’s no coincidence that those years of rotating sports created a more complete, adaptable, and resilient athlete.
Triple Play is built on that foundation.
In today’s world of early specialization, we’re offering something different: a high-energy, one-day event where athletes compete in three sports—basketball, lacrosse, and soccer. It’s a throwback to how we used to play, and a bold step toward how we should be developing athletes.
This isn’t just about fun (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about movement, decision-making, coordination, creativity, and grit. It’s about proving that the best players are often the most versatile ones.
Triple Play is where athletes come to compete, grow, and rediscover why they fell in love with sports in the first place.
